Second Stage Round 4: Vysoka - Chomutov 70-77

There was a surprise result when nineteenth ranked Chomutov (1-7) won against higher ranked Vysoka (6-3) in Vysoka nad Labem 77-70 on Friday. The winners were led by center Ondrej Kovar (204-2001) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds and Filip Moravek (188-2004) supported him with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Even a double-double of 21 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists by forward Ondrej Peterka (197-1991, agency: Octagon Europe) did not help to save the game for Vysoka. Guard Adam Srnik (188-2002, agency: BIG) added 17 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Chomutov left bottom position moving up to fifth place, which they share with Brno 2 and Radotin. Newly promoted Vysoka dropped to the fourteenth position with three games lost. Chomutov will meet at home Ostrava (#17) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Vysoka will play against Liberec and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
